Kentucky High School Basketball - Woodford County sneaks past Tates Creek
February 13, 2025: Lexington, KY 40517 The Woodford County Yellowjackets (Versailles, KY) basketball edged the host Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY), 52-48 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Boone County for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. Woodford County will play a Rebels team coming off a 54-43 non-league loss to Villa Madonna (Covington, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 1-21.
With the loss, Tates Creek falls to 10-13 on the campaign. The Commodores host Male (Louisville, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-6.
