February 13, 2025: Merced, CA 95348 El Capitan Gauchos (Merced, CA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, El Capitan advances its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Gauchos travel to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to clash with the Thunder in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 18. The Thunder come into the test with a record of 10-2. Rocklin won 2-0 in their recent league test against Whitney (Rocklin, CA)
The Cardinals now have a 7-7 record.
