Texas High School Softball - Salado bounces Lyford
February 13, 2025: Lyford, TX 78569 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Salado Eagles softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Lyford Bulldogs.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX). The Hawks come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Harlingen South notched a victory over Rivera (Brownsville, TX), 16-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Gregory-Portland Wildcats (Portland, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 14. Lyford will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 1-0 record after their 16-1 league win over King (Corpus Christi, TX).
