February 13, 2025: San Marcos, TX 78666 The Wylie Pirates softball team scored 6 runs and held the host San Marcos Rattlers to 3 in the Pirates non-league win on Thursday.
The Pirates now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Ridge for a non-league battle on Friday, February 14. Wylie will confront a War Eagles team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over HCYA (Houston, TX). The War Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, San Marcos moves to 4-1 on the season. The Rattlers host Hargrave (Huffman, TX) to confront the Falcons in a non-league battle on Friday, February 14. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Hargrave won 8-1 in their recent non-league battle against Splendora (Splendora, TX)
