Winside Wildcats (Winside, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Ainsworth Bulldogs (Ainsworth, NE), 56-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Winside advances its record to 7-14 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Cedar Bluffs (Cedar Bluffs, NE) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, February 19. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 12-11. Cedar Bluffs lost 55-37 in their recent non-league contest against Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE)

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Hyannis Longhorns (Hyannis, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 20. Ainsworth will attempt to better on its 4-17 season record. The Longhorns go into the contest with a 12-10 record after their 59-46 non-league loss to Potter-Dix (Potter, NE).
