The China Spring Cougars softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting MacArthur Brahmas to 4 in the Cougars non-league win on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waxahachie for a non-league battle on Friday, February 13. China Spring will confront a Indians team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over College Station (College Station, TX). The Indians record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, MacArthur moves to 1-4 on the season. The Brahmas travel to V.R. Eaton (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 13.
