The Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX) softball overwhelmed the visiting Eagle Mountain Knights (Fort Worth, TX), 6-1 in Friday's non-league test.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 17. Grapevine will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Leopards go into the test with a 3-0 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX).

The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Colleyville Heritage held off Keller Central (Keller, TX), 9-7, in a non-league contest.
