Kansas High School Basketball - Winfield tipped by Belle Plaine
February 14, 2022: Belle Plaine, KS 67013 The Belle Plaine Dragons basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Winfield Vikings to 58 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Monday.
The Dragons now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chaparral for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 15. Belle Plaine will meet a Roadrunners team coming off a 67-52 non-league win over Kingman (Kingman, KS). The Roadrunners record now stands at 9-7.
The Vikings (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against El Dorado (El Dorado, KS). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, El Dorado nudged McPherson (McPherson, KS), 74-59, in a non-league contest.
