Illinois High School Basketball - Elverado holds off Century
February 14, 2022: Elkville, IL 62932 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Elverado Falcons (Elkville, IL) and the visiting Century Centurions (Ullin, IL), saw Elverado's basketball squad hold off Century by a tally of 50-43.
With the victory, Elverado improves its record to 9-15 on the campaign. The Falcons host Zeigler-Royalton (Zeigler, IL) to confront the Tornadoes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 6-23. Zeigler-Royalton lost 58-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Galatia (Galatia, IL)
Next up, the Centurions confront the Vienna Eagles (Vienna, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Century will attempt to improve on its 3-20 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 21-9 record after their 61-56 league loss to Goreville (Goreville, IL).
