Maryland High School Basketball - Loch Raven topped by New Town
February 14, 2022: Towson, MD 21204 The New Town basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the host Loch Raven Raiders to 55 in the league victory on Monday.
The now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catonsville for a Baltimore County 2 contest on Wednesday, February 16. New Town will battle a Comets team coming off a 63-55 league win over Century (Sykesville, MD). The Comets record now stands at 12-7.
The Raiders (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast (Pasadena, MD). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Northeast prevailed over North County (Glen Burnie, MD), 75-67, in a league contest.
