Sunny Hills Lancers (Fullerton, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sunny Hills upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Lancers host Anaheim (Anaheim, CA) to battle the Colonists in a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. The Colonists come into the test with a record of 0-1.

With the defeat, El Modena falls to 1-1 on the season. The Vanguards host Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA) to battle the Barons in a non-league test on Thursday, February 16.
