Wisconsin High School Basketball - Chippewa Falls fells Altoona
February 14, 2023: Altoona, WI 54720 Chippewa Falls Cardinals (Chippewa Falls, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Altoona Railroaders (Altoona, WI), 73-65 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Chippewa Falls upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Cardinals travel to New Richmond (New Richmond, WI) to play the Tigers in a Big Rivers bout on Thursday, February 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-15. New Richmond won 80-57 in their recent non-league bout against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, WI)
Next up, the Railroaders play the Amery Warriors (Amery, WI) in a Middle Border bout, on Thursday, February 16. Altoona will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-15 record after their 62-61 non-league loss to Colfax (Colfax, WI).
