Massachusetts High School Basketball - Beverly overwhelms Winthrop
February 14, 2023: Winthrop, MA 02152 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Beverly Panthers (Beverly, MA) and the host Winthrop Vikings (Winthrop, MA), saw Beverly's basketball squad wallop Winthrop by a tally of 94-51.
With the victory, Beverly improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Sunday, February 19. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Central Catholic lost 58-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Boston College High (Boston, MA)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Northeast Metro RVT Knights (Wakefield, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Winthrop will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 62-41 league loss to Shawsheen Valley Tech (Billerica, MA).
