Ohio High School Basketball - Brookside fells Open Door Christian
February 14, 2023: Sheffield, OH 44054 Brookside Cardinals (Sheffield, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Open Door Christian Patriots (Elyria, OH), 78-58 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Brookside upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Black River (Sullivan, OH) to clash with the Pirates in a Lorain County 8 bout on Friday, February 17. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 8-13. Black River lost 85-72 in their recent non-league bout against Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH)
Next up, the Patriots clash with the Trinity Trojans (Garfield Heights, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Open Door Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 64-58 non-league loss to Cornerstone Christian (Willoughby, OH).
