February 14, 2023: Matteson, IL 60471 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Comer Catamounts (Chicago, IL) and the host Southland College Prep (Matteson, IL), saw Comer's basketball squad hold off Southland College Prep by a tally of 54-51.
With the victory, Comer improves its record to 13-16 on the campaign. The Catamounts travel to Harlan (Chicago, IL) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 8-18. Harlan won 57-46 in their recent non-league challenge against EPIC Academy (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the play the Shepard Astros (Palos Heights, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. Southland College Prep will attempt to improve on its 8-19 season record. The Astros come into the challenge with a 14-16 record after their 73-59 non-league loss to Kennedy (Chicago, IL).
