Wisconsin High School Basketball - Crandon knocked off by Lakeland
February 14, 2023: Crandon, WI 54520 The Lakeland Thunderbirds basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Crandon Cardinals to 67 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northland Pines for a Great Northern contest on Friday, February 17. Lakeland will meet a Eagles team coming off a 59-58 league loss to Medford (Medford, WI). The Eagles record now stands at 13-5.
The Cardinals (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI). The Hatchets enter the non-league contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Tomahawk was outscored by Antigo (Antigo, WI), 51-41, in a league contest.
