Ohio High School Basketball - West Branch holds off Tuscarawas Central Catholic
February 14, 2023: New Philadelphia, OH 44663 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH) and the host Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints (New Philadelphia, OH), saw West Branch's basketball squad hold off Tuscarawas Central Catholic by a tally of 52-50.
With the victory, West Branch improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Warriors host Waterloo (Atwater, OH) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Waterloo won 66-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Southeast (Ravenna, OH)
Next up, the Saints confront the Buckeye Trail Warriors (Lore City, OH) in a Inter-Valley challenge, on Friday, February 17. Tuscarawas Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 54-38 league loss to Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH).
