The Vernon Vikings basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting West Milford Highlanders to 40 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Veritas Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 18. Vernon will meet a team coming off a 71-20 non-league win over Kearny Christian Academy (Kearny, NJ). The record now stands at 20-8.
