Kentucky High School Basketball - Augusta tops Harrison County
February 14, 2023: Augusta, KY 41002 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Augusta Panthers (Augusta, KY) and the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), saw Augusta's basketball squad knock off Harrison County by a tally of 57-37.
With the victory, Augusta improves its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY) to play the Juggernauts in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Juggernauts come into the challenge with a record of 8-12. Lloyd Memorial lost 61-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool (Cincinnati, OH)
Next up, the Thorobreds play the Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Harrison County will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 57-45 non-league win over Western Hills (Frankfort, KY).
