Kansas High School Basketball - Thomas More Prep-Marian tops Great Bend
February 14, 2023: Great Bend, KS 67530 Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs (Hays, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Great Bend Panthers (Great Bend, KS), 46-29 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Thomas More Prep-Marian upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Norton (Norton, KS) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Bluejays come into the bout with a record of 11-8. Norton won 68-51 in their recent non-league bout against Trego (WaKeeney, KS)
Next up, the Panthers play the Dodge City Demons (Dodge City, KS) in a Western bout, on Friday, February 17. Great Bend will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The Demons come into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 38-30 non-league win over Garden City (Garden City, KS).
