February 14, 2023: Posen, MI 49776 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mackinaw City Comets (Mackinaw City, MI) and the host Posen Vikings (Posen, MI), saw Mackinaw City's basketball squad wallop Posen by a tally of 54-19.
With the victory, Mackinaw City improves its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Comets host North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI) to confront the Comets in a Northern Lakes challenge on Friday, February 17. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. North Michigan Christian Academy lost 45-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Au Gres-Sims Wolverines (Au Gres, MI) in a North Star challenge, on Friday, February 17. Posen will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 48-31 league win over Atlanta (Atlanta, MI).
