Georgia High School Soccer - Archer knocks off Clarke Central
February 14, 2023: Athens, GA 30605 Archer Tigers (Lawrenceville, GA) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers confront the South Gwinnett Comets (Snellville, GA) in a 7A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Archer will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA).
The Gladiators now possess a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flowery Branch for a 5A Region 8 challenge on Friday, February 17. Clarke Central will confront a Falcons team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-0.
