February 14, 2023: Macon, GA 31206 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Rutland Hurricanes (Macon, GA) and the visiting Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA), saw Rutland's soccer squad triumph over Kendrick by a count of 9-0.
The Hurricanes now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Warner Robins for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 21. Rutland will meet a Demons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central (Macon, GA). The Demons record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Kendrick drops to 0-3 on the season. The Cherokees host Shaw (Columbus, GA) to meet the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, February 16. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 1-3. Shaw won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA)
