Texas High School Softball - Georgetown holds off Lake Belton
February 14, 2023: Temple, TX 76502 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) and the host Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX), witnessed Georgetown's softball squad tip Lake Belton by a count of 2-0.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Needville for a non-league match on Thursday, February 16. Georgetown will meet a Bluejays squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Sweeny (Sweeny, TX). The Bluejays record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Lake Belton moves to 0-1 on the season. The Broncos travel to Hendrickson (Pflugerville, TX) to meet the Hawks in a non-league match on Friday, February 17. The Hawks go into the match with a record of 0-1.
