Massachusetts High School Basketball - Collegiate Charter School of Lowell can't hold off Ayer Shirley
February 14, 2024: Ayer, MA 01432 The Ayer Shirley Panthers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Collegiate Charter School of Lowell Wolves to 47 in the Panthers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host South for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 15. Ayer Shirley will battle a Colonels team coming off a 57-44 league win over Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA). The Colonels record now stands at 9-9.
The Wolves (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Nashoba Valley Tech (Westford, MA). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 4-11 record. In their last contest, Nashoba Valley Tech was nudged by Academy of Notre Dame (Tyngsborough, MA), 69-67, in a league contest.
