Connecticut High School Basketball - Fitch trounces Valley Regional

The Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT) basketball crushed the host Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT), 83-56 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Falcons (13-5) will now prepare for their test against New London (New London, CT). The Whalers go into the Eastern Connecticut I test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, New London smashed Bassick (Bridgeport, CT), 71-61, in a non-league outing.

The Warriors now hold a 4-15 record. They play next when they host Harding for a non-league outing on Friday, February 16. Valley Regional will clash with a Presidents squad coming off a 63-52 non-league win over Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT). The Presidents record now stands at 5-12.
