Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - Thayer Academy knocks off Austin Prep
February 14, 2024: Reading, MA 01867 The Thayer Academy Tigers trounced the host Austin Prep Cougars ice hockey squad by a count of 8-1 in Wednesday's league bout.
With the victory, Thayer Academy moves its record to 12-11 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Milton Academy (Milton, MA) to face the Mustangs in a bout on Friday, February 16. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 12-12. Milton Academy lost 5-4 in their recent league bout against Belmont Hill (Belmont, MA)
The Cougars now sport a 5-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilbraham & Monson Academy for a bout on Saturday, February 17. Austin Prep will face a Titans squad coming off a 5-1 league loss to Worcester Academy (Worcester, MA). The Titans record now stands at 7-15.
