Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Watertown/Pomperaug defeated by East Haven
February 14, 2024: Watertown, CT 06795 East Haven Yellowjackets (East Haven, CT) followers left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the host Watertown/Pomperaug Indians (Watertown, CT), 3-0 in a league match.
The Yellowjackets (11-1) will now prepare for their match against North Haven (North Haven, CT). The Nighthawks enter the Southern Connecticut - DII match with a 9-9 record. In their last match, North Haven tipped Hand (Madison, CT), 5-1, in a league match.
Next up, the Indians clash with the Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - DII match, on Saturday, February 17. Watertown/Pomperaug will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 10-2 record after their 8-2 non-league win over New Milford (New Milford, CT).
