The Centennial Broncos basketball squad (Utica, NE), was nudged 56-49 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE)

With the victory, Cross County advances its record to 20-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Friday, February 21. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 20-3. Exeter-Milligan/Friend won 73-38 in their recent non-league test against Diller-Odell (Odell, NE)

The Broncos (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Malcolm (Malcolm, NE). The Clippers come into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Malcolm was nipped by Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE), 47-43, in a non-league test.
