Minnesota High School Basketball - Chisholm holds off Ely
February 14, 2025: Ely, MN 55731 The Chisholm Bluestreaks basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Ely Timberwolves to 56 in the Bluestreaks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bluestreaks now have a 8-14 record. They play next when they travel to Cook County for a A Section 7 game on Tuesday, February 18. Chisholm will confront a Vikings team coming off a 77-67 league win over Bigfork (Bigfork, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 9-10.
With the loss, Ely falls to 15-7 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN) to confront the Rangers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Rangers go into the game with a record of 19-4. Mountain Iron-Buhl won 71-46 in their recent league game against South Ridge (Culver, MN)
