Illinois High School Basketball - Eureka victorious over Prairie Central
February 14, 2025: Fairbury, IL 61739 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Eureka Hornets basketball team scored a good 54-43 triumph over the Prairie Central Hawks.
The Hornets (15-13) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington (Lexington, IL). The Minutemen go into the Heart of Illinois contest with a 23-6 record. In their last contest, Lexington topped Ridgeview (Colfax, IL), 96-71, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 15. Prairie Central will attempt to better on its 7-21 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 16-12 record after their 70-38 non-league loss to St. Anne (St. Anne, IL).
