Texas High School Basketball - Gilmer toppled by Grace Community
February 14, 2025: Tyler, TX 75701 Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX), 73-62 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Grace Community advances its record to 22-15 on the year. The Cougars travel to Grace Prep (Arlington, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Lions enter the match with a record of 24-5. Grace Prep won 71-66 in their recent league match against Trinity Christian (Lubbock, TX)
The Buckeyes now own a 13-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canton for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Gilmer will face a Eagles squad coming off a 68-40 non-league loss to Kennedale (Kennedale, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 16-15.
