Kentucky High School Basketball - Lewis County crushes Menifee County
February 14, 2025: Frenchburg, KY 40322 The Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) basketball crushed the host Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), 72-44 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 16-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fairview for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. Lewis County will play a Eagles team coming off a 78-69 non-league loss to Phelps (Phelps, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 4-18.
With the loss, Menifee County falls to 4-20 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to West Carter (Olive Hill, KY) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 5-21. West Carter won 64-42 in their recent non-league bout against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)
