In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Avon Braves basketball team scored a good 48-36 triumph over the Franklin Bulldogs.

The Braves (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Caledonia-Mumford (Caledonia, NY). The Raiders go into the Section 5 Livingston 2 contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Caledonia-Mumford topped York (Retsof, NY), 47-38, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the East Eagles (Rochester, NY) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 19. Franklin will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 10-4 record after their 84-41 league win over School of the Arts (Rochester, NY).
