In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Winner Warriors basketball team scored a close 50-44 triumph over the McLaughlin Mustangs.

The Warriors (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Platte/Geddes (Platte, SD). The Black Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Platte/Geddes nipped Bon Homme (Tyndall, SD), 52-48, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Wakpala Sioux (Wakpala, SD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 18. McLaughlin will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record.
