The Sonora Broncos softball squad scored 7 runs and restricted the visiting Junction Eagles to 6 in the Broncos non-league victory on Saturday.

Next, the Broncos meet the Mason Punchers (Mason, TX) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 14. Sonora will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Punchers go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 15-5 non-league loss to Bandera (Bandera, TX).

The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Merkel (Merkel, TX). The Badgers go into the non-league test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Merkel held off Edison (San Antonio, TX), 18-1, in a non-league outing.
