February 15, 2022: Placentia, CA 92870 The Valencia Tigers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Northwood Timberwolves to 5 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record.

Game Summary
The first game went well on the hitting side of the ball, but got 3 errors in the game early then down 6 to 5 in the 6th Inning the Tigers got the lead by the score of 7 to 6 then in the Top of the 7th Inning Northwood would get the lead by the score of 13 to 8 but the game ended due to Thunder and Lightning with Rain Hail so with that the Tigers win the 1 game of the Newport Elks Tournament and start the season with a 1-0 overall record.
