The Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Cary Academy Chargers (Cary, NC), 78-44 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Lions (15-15) will now prepare for their test against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 20-8 record. In their last test, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee walloped Bob Jones Academy (Greenville, SC), 55-47, in a non-league test.
