February 15, 2022: Lyons, KS 67554 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS) and the visiting Nickerson Panthers (Nickerson, KS), saw Lyons's basketball squad knock off Nickerson by a count of 59-40.
With the victory, Lyons upgrades its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Lions host Hoisington (Hoisington, KS) to play the Cardinals in a Central Kansas challenge on Friday, February 18. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Hoisington lost 58-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Smoky Valley (Lindsborg, KS)
Next up, the Panthers play the Pratt Greenbacks (Pratt, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 18. Nickerson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Greenbacks come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 78-63 non-league win over Haven (Haven, KS).
