Kansas High School Basketball - Bonner Springs fells Piper
February 15, 2022: Kansas City, KS 66109 Bonner Springs Braves (Bonner Springs, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS), 49-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bonner Springs upgrades its record to 8-9 on the season. The Braves travel to Louisburg (Louisburg, KS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, February 18. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Louisburg lost 36-25 in their recent non-league bout against Eudora (Eudora, KS)
Next up, the Pirates play the Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 17. Piper will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 56-54 non-league win over Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS).
