Petersburg Vikings (Petersburg, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV), 56-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Petersburg upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Vikings travel to Pendleton County (Franklin, WV) to clash with the Wildcat in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 17. The Wildcat go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Pendleton County lost 63-26 in their recent non-league bout against Webster County (Upper Glade, WV)

Next up, the Golden Tornado clash with the Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 17. Keyser will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 41-18 league win over Moorefield (Moorefield, WV).
