February 15, 2023: Barnesville, GA 30204 Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats face the Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA) in a 4A Area 4 challenge, on Friday, February 17. Whitewater will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 league win over North Clayton (College Park, GA).
The Trojans now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Peach County for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. Lamar County will face a Trojans team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-2.
