February 15, 2024: Lanesboro, MN 55949 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN) and the visiting Alden-Conger Knights (Alden, MN), saw Lanesboro's basketball squad overcome Alden-Conger by a tally of 61-52.
With the victory, Lanesboro improves its record to 7-18 on the campaign. The Burros travel to Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN) to play the Knights in a A Section 1 challenge on Monday, February 19. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 18-5. Kingsland won 66-35 in their recent league challenge against Hayfield (Hayfield, MN)
Next up, the Knights play the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. Alden-Conger will attempt to improve on its 14-14 season record. The Awesome Blossoms come into the challenge with a 23-3 record after their 47-46 league win over Southland (Adams, MN).
