Maryland High School Basketball - Avalon knocked off by The Heights
February 15, 2024: Wheaton, MD 20902 The The Heights basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Avalon Black Knights to 51 in the league triumph on Thursday.
The now sport a 3-22 record. They put it on the line next when they host DeMatha for a Washington Catholic contest on Friday, February 16. The Heights will battle a Stags team coming off a 63-50 non-league loss to Paul VI (Chantilly, VA). The Stags record now stands at 16-11.
The Black Knights (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD). The Wildebeests enter the Potomac Valley contest with a 21-6 record.
