High School Basketball - Varsity Opponent can't hold off Boyd Christian
February 15, 2024: , The Boyd Christian Broncos basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Varsity Opponent to 57 in the Broncos non-league victory on Thursday.
The Broncos now sport a 3-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dickson Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 17. Boyd Christian will battle a Falcons team coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy (Whites Creek, TN). The Falcons record now stands at 2-3.
The (435-1572) will now prepare for their contest against Mercy Prep Academy (Waxahachie, TX). The Royals come into the non-league contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Mercy Prep Academy was nudged by Marshall Christian Academy (Marshall, TX), 59-38, in a league contest.
