Missouri High School Basketball - Chillicothe nips Kirksville
February 15, 2024: Chillicothe, MO 64601 Chillicothe Hornets (Chillicothe, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kirksville Tigers (Kirksville, MO), 70-65 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Chillicothe upgrades its record to 17-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Marshall (Marshall, MO) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Marshall lost 74-71 in their recent league bout against Moberly (Moberly, MO)
Next up, the Tigers play the Marshall Owls (Marshall, MO) in a North Central Missouri bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Kirksville will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Owls go into the bout with a 9-15 record after their 62-47 non-league loss to Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO).
