New Jersey High School Basketball - River Dell holds off Cresskill
February 15, 2024: Cresskill, NJ 07626 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the River Dell Golden Hawks (Oradell, NJ) and the host Cresskill Cougars (Cresskill, NJ), saw River Dell's basketball squad hold off Cresskill by a tally of 61-60.
With the victory, River Dell improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Golden Hawks host Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 12-10.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Midland Park Panthers (Midland Park, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Cresskill will attempt to improve on its 14-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-15 record after their 62-61 non-league loss to Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ).
