February 15, 2024: Dawsonville, GA 30534 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) and the host Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA), saw Gilmer's basketball squad knock off Dawson County by a count of 74-60.
With the victory, Gilmer upgrades its record to 17-8 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Pickens (Jasper, GA) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 20-7. Pickens won 51-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 17. Dawson County will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 14-13 record after their 51-35 non-league loss to Pickens (Jasper, GA).
