The Father McGivney Catholic Griffins basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Mt. Olive Wildcats to 42 in the Griffins non-league victory on Thursday.

The Griffins now sport a 12-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Metro-East Lutheran for a non-league contest on Monday, February 19.

The Wildcats (3-24) will now prepare for their contest against Lincolnwood (Raymond, IL). The Lancers come into the non-league contest with a 15-13 record. In their last contest, Lincolnwood triumphed over Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL), 38-27, in a non-league contest.
