The Weaver Beavers routed the visiting Kennedy Eagles basketball team by a final score of 80-47 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Beavers face the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens (New Britain, CT) in a Capitol Region game, on Friday, February 16. Weaver will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record. The Ravens enter the game with a 17-1 record after their 84-54 league win over CREC [Computer Science and Engineering/Academy of Aerospace and Engineering] (Enfield, CT).

With the defeat, Kennedy moves to 5-13 on the year. The Eagles travel to Ansonia (Ansonia, CT) to face the Chargers in a Naugatuck Valley 2 game on Tuesday, February 20. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 11-8. Ansonia lost 72-59 in their recent league game against St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT)
